Most BMW are leased. And since in 06, they introduced the E90/92 model of the 3 series, they sold like hot cakes.

Unless purchased, most leasers opt for the 3 year leasing plan. Since its 2010, most of the least from 07 just expired.

i dont have a 7 series. never even been in one, but here's a piece of advice.

dont ask for things, get some money and buy one. one day when i have kids, i'll laugh in their face when they expect a 10-15 thousand dollar gift.

I'd go with a BMW 328xi wagon or a Subaru Outback. Both are about the same and have AWD. If you something fun to drive, take the BMW; though it is more expensive, it's nicer in quality. The Subaru would be more reliable though it has a lower quality. Also unless you get a Subaru with a turbo or v-6, it'll likely feel underpowered compared to the BMW.

Unfortunately, there's no way to get around the repairs, parts, or service charges. BMW is a German car and German parts are way more expensive not to mention that BMW's are so technologically complex that they always require a ridiculous amount of maintenance. The 3 series is the most reliable car they've ever made but they still are expensive to fix and they're beautiful of course because you get what you pay for. Personally, my family owns 4 and we love them but all of ours are from 2008 and up and I wouldn't recommend buying an older model anyway because once too many miles are put on the maintenance becomes more frequent and more expensive, they need a HUGE service around 60k miles or so which can cost up to $ 3,000 on certain models. Hope this helped!

parts for both of this cars are expensive, also auto shop at school is not proper training as this cars are very complex, your school shop wont have the diagnostic, manuals and expertise to handle this cars.
BUY A HONDA CIVIC,and avoid all the headache.

Get the 300zx. These cars are not difficult to work on at all. A bmw would be very expensive to work on even if you did the work yourself. My dads transmission went out on his bmw and cost over $ 5000 to get rebuilt and I would not attempt to try to rebuild a bmw tranny.

Personally I like the way the 300zx looks.

Hope this helps with your decision.

I would go with the Range Rover. They can be unreliable, but if you can afford the car hopefully you can afford the maintenance as well.

The S-Class was redesigned in 2007 and the 7-series redesign will be released shortly, so both will look a little aged (mainly the MB) compared to the latest versions.
